Perspectives with Craftsman and Artist Michael Sherrill

Renowned craft artist. Maker. Entrepreneur. Innovator. Businessman. Philanthropist. Michael Sherrill embodies all these titles with ease. At 66 years old, one might even say he is a legend in his own time.

It’s an impressive legacy, especially considering the circumstances that led him here. Michael grew up a middle child among nine children, shuffled between families with modest means. With severe dyslexia that went undiagnosed until after high school, Michael was made to sit in the back of the class with other students who were branded “the LDs” for learning disabled.
