Ivester Jackson Distinctive Properties in February was named the official Christie’s International Real Estate Overall Affiliate of The Year—the luxury real estate network’s top award—at the network’s recent global conference in Buenos Aires. As the Charlotte area’s dominant brokerage in sales over $2 million, Ivester Jackson joins past winners Daniel Féau of Paris, France, and Chestnut Park, of Toronto, Canada, with the prestigious distinction. According to Christie’s, four awards are given annually for the small, medium and large market categories, plus the top honor: overall winner regardless of market size. Determining criteria include: overall business innovation, market leadership, passion to succeed in the Christie’s local and global marketplace, and collaboration with network colleagues and Christie’s art auction house specialists. Ivester Jackson is also the top seller of luxury homes in the $2 million-plus range in North Carolina—one notable sale was a record $5.6 million transaction—and not just the Charlotte region. The owners, Reed and Lori Jackson, were presented with the award during a dinner ceremony at the famous Buenos Aires Alvear Palace Hotel.
